A stunning piece of daring architecture designed by internationally renowned architect I. M. Pei, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum contains equally remarkable interactive exhibits, films, videos and priceless and poignant artifacts, and serves as host of the permanent Hall of Fame exhibit. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the Museum stages a number of temporary exhibits throughout the year, including large-scale exhibits that occupy the top two levels of the building. The Museum also produces programs for the public that include concerts, lectures, panel discussions, film series, teacher education and other events.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is situated on the shores of Lake Erie in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, within 500 miles of 43% of the U.S. population-less than a day's drive or an hour's flight from many major cities in the U.S. and Canada. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, which services 680 flights daily, is a twenty-minute drive to downtown, or an easy trip on public transportation. The Amtrak station is a short walk from the Museum.

Shadowbox Cabaret $5
Straightjackets are optional, but the laughs are mandatory at Shadowbox Cabaret this spring, as The Sketch Comedy and Rock and Roll Club located at the Easton Town Center presents Crazy From the Heat, opening Thursday, March 30 and running Wednesdays – Saturdays thereafter through June 3. Crazy From the Heat promises to be a better remedy for the blues than the therapist’s couch.

The latest addition to the cabaret’s season, Crazy From the Heat is an all-new collection of the funniest original sketch comedy and rockin’ cover tunes this side of the nuthouse! A gang of cubicle dwellers turned petty thieves plot to return their stolen loot before the “Office Inventory” rats them out, while Frankie, Annette, and the rest of the gang head to the shore for a wild time at the “Bikini Beach Blanket Bonfire Bash.” Casey Kasem hits Spring Break for a special edition of “American Top 40,” and a Girl Scout spends some time with Shadowbox’s king of kooky, “Crazy Charlie.” Back with a brand new episode, Shadowbox’s action hero Dr. Mystery will take on King Kong and Godzilla, and Shadowbox tips it’s hat to an elder generation as the radio talk show “The Inside Skinny” takes the audience inside a Florida retirement community.

And it looks like the insanity’s contagious, as Shadowbox’s house band, BillWho? goes certifiably mad on a set list of music from Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, Mitch Ryder, Incubus, The Beastie Boys, and many others. “The Crazy From the Heat theme is a great addition to our production schedule,” said Katy Psenicka, Shadowbox GM. “We’re excited about this fast-paced show that is full of great plot twists and surprises. Additionally, we’re thrilled to have some of our 2Co’s staff rejoin us on the Shadowbox stage. This show feels a bit like an ensemble reunion for us”

Crazy From the Heat runs Wednesdays through Saturdays thereafter through June 3rd. Show times are 7:30 PM (doors open at 6:15) with additional late shows at 10:30 on Saturdays (doors open at 10:00). Be sure to come early and enjoy made-to-order food and drinks from Shadowbox’s bistro-style menu, served up by the ensemble members before the show and during intermission.
